Super Facialist by Una Brennan: Mattifying Moisturiser & Cleansing Wash

That has to be one of the longest blog post titles ever! I love this little range that I spotted in my local Boots whilst gazing upon the skincare aisle. I feel that it really stands out as a brand, the products feel extremely luxurious and have ingredients to match. If I hadn't had known, I would have assumed the brand was higher end than it's actual price tags.
I love what the brand itself is about. In a nutshell, professional facialist of the stars, Una Brennan decided to create good quality skincare to enable people to give themselves facials at home- minus the ridiculous price tags. This lady really does know her stuff and each range within the brand has clearly been thought out.
The two products that I will be sharing my thoughts on are the Mattifying Moisturiser and Purifying Cleansing Wash. Both of these products are in the Tea Flower; Deep Clean range which means that they are specifically catered for combination skin that is prone to breakouts. With ingredients like salicylic acid involved to target breakout prone, oily skin.
I feel as if the moisturiser is perfect for a day time boost of moisture make-up application as it is not too thin, runny and pretty crap at moisturising- which I feel as if most moisturisers that are targeted toward oily skin tend to be. The consistency is perfect for every day use- not too thick, nor too thin. After application you're left with a clean smooth base which is not greasy at all.

After falling in love with the moisturiser, I decided to pick up the counterpart in the range- Purifying Cleansing Wash. I love love love using this as an everyday facial wash. Although it contains breakout fighting ingredients, it is not at all harsh on the skin. This is a lovely morning pick me up for your skin as it removes excess oil without sucking up all of your essential oils-for lack of better phrase. I can't help but think of the days when bottles of Clean & Clear and Clearisil filled up the shelves in my bathroom. If only I had something that was actually gentle on my skin like this cleanser.. I bet my skin wouldn't have been half as bad if I hadn't insisted on using harsh products sighh. We've all been there!
With the moisturiser retailing at £12.99 and the cleansing wash at £7.99, these little beauties will hardly break the bank!

I really recommend having a look at this brand as it delivers for all skin types with some really lovely products. After loving these little beauties and the Calming Creamy Cleanser from the hydration range, I'm desperate to try out the rest of the products from the brand. With the facial oil and clay mask both at the top of my list!
Have you tried anything from Una Brennan's Super Facialist line?
